Well, let's try something new. I am going to use the blog feature on my site to share some of my thoughts and observations on my life and this world around me.
If you read these please be kind as I am not much of a writer and even less of an online/social presence kind of human. Come to think about it, the most I was present online was during the Google+ days if anyone can remember those. G+ (as it was known by people inside) is where I met a lot of my current friends and also my current wife whom I've been married to for roughly 12 years now. It was a sad day when Google+ ended as it was kind of the Wild West for social networks; there was very little chance of encountering your relatives on there and so it was a great place to strike up new relationships and find others you would generally not encounter elsewhere.
A bit about me, I was born in 1984, which is also an amazing book by Orwell, I'm into analog machines and tools such as this here typewriter, my film cameras, and fountain pens. I long for the tech of my youth as time moves forward. I am on TypePals (a great online community from my experience so far) and I have discovered that a lot of my interests align with others in that community. I suppose it makes some sense but I did not expect so many people on there to be in their twenties. I'm trying to initiate more letters on TypePals instead of waiting around for folks to contact me. Well, enough of this nonsense for now.
